New Releases from Scottsdale Mint and the Perth Mint
The new shipment included interesting pieces from various producers. One of the first was an oval silver coin from Scottsdale Mint, dedicated to Dominica, featuring dolphins, dated 2023.
Following that, an Australian coin was shown, issued for the 10th anniversary of the 'Wedge-Tailed Eagle' series. This 2024 one-ounce specimen of .9999 pure silver features an eagle on the obverse and a portrait of King Charles III on the reverse.
African Wildlife Series: Somali Leopard
Of particular interest is the 'African Wildlife' coin series, issued for the Republic of Somalia. The new 2024 issue is dedicated to the leopard. The coin has a face value of 100 Shillings and contains one ounce of .9999 silver.
This series is in the collection, but there is one difficulty associated with it. One of the coins in the series consistently arrives with milk spots, and it has not yet been possible to replace it with a defect-free specimen.

Popular Australian Series: Emu, Kookaburra, and Quokka
The main focus in collecting right now is on Australian coins. These issues are considered one of the best directions for investment. The latest purchase included coins from several key series.
- 2024 Australian Emu
- 2024 Kookaburra
- Two-ounce Australian Emu from the 'Mother and Baby' series
- 2020 Quokka
The 'Mother and Baby' series is particularly popular. However, it has a drawback: the coins are shipped from the mint without capsules, which sometimes leads to scratches. Meanwhile, the 'Quokka' series also continues to expand, and the 2025 coin is expected to be released.

British Royal and Pirate Motifs
The collection of the 'Tudor Beasts' series continues, which is the successor to the popular 'Queen's Beasts' series. This time, the two-ounce 'Tudor Dragon' 2024 coin was received. The next release in this series will be the 'Seymour Panther,' which is also expected soon.
Another interesting series is 'Black Flag,' dedicated to pirates. The 'Henry Every' 2023 coin, issued for Tuvalu, was shown. It is noted that after this release, the series has gone somewhat quiet, and no new coins have appeared yet.

The Trend for Colorized Coins
Recently, a large number of colorized coins have appeared on the market. In particular, the Perth Mint is actively releasing enameled versions for many of its series, including Dragons, Snakes, Quokkas, and Swans. The colorized 2024 Australian Dragon was demonstrated.
The attitude towards such coins is rather skeptical, as they are usually more expensive than standard issues. However, at the time of their release, these colorized dragons cost the same as the regular ones. Despite their attractive appearance, the preference in the personal collection is for coins without colorization.
